在英國，我們常常被美麗的事物所吸引而著迷，在台灣我們常常被美味的食物所吸引而著迷。英語當中，表達”使~著迷”的都是及物動詞：captivate、fascinate、enchant、charm，以及obsess。在使用上，由於人們都是被吸引而感到著迷，所以多用被動語態，介係詞幾乎都用by。 基本句型：S + be + captivated/ fascinated/enchanted/ charmed/ obsessed + by O 造例句的時候搭配上英國優美風光是最棒的了；如果還有機會回英國，我們最想造訪的是夏日時分的巴斯(Bath)。在巴斯，我們醉心於美麗的英格蘭鄉間風光和溫泉文化。In Bath, we are fascinated by the splendid countryside scenery as well as hot spring culture of England. 還有就是布萊頓(Briton)。在布萊頓的時候，我們深深著迷於優雅壯觀亞洲風情的宮殿建築以及充滿城市的異國情調。When visiting Briton, we were deeply enchanted by the superb and elegant Asian-fashioned palace structure and the exotic appeal filling the city. 回到台灣，最讓我們著迷的當然就是台灣的美食囉。我們發現自己常常對遠道前來台灣的國際友人如此說：Enchanted by the yummy Taiwanese delicacy, lots of international visitors flock to Taiwan to grab a bite. 前兩天品嘗了王品牛排，可以把全熟的牛排料理的如此美味，大概只有台灣人有這種能耐吧！
